ZnO powder:white powder, innocuous, odorless, stable under normal temperature. soluble in acid, alkali and ammonium chloride solution, insoluble in water and alcohol.
ZnO granule:White irregular granule, it¡¯s made of ZnO powder (ordinary ZnO) by specially processing, so the cost of itself is higher than ZnO powder. Its chemical character don¡¯t change co***red with ZnO Powder and only some physical appearance changes. However co***red with ZnO powder, ZnO granule has these strongpoints: without powder or dust flying during using, better fluidity, dispersed more easily and more equally mixed with others, used more expediently and measured more exactly. So it can be applied to automatically measuring and mechanizing transfer.
Nano ZnO:Nano-ZnO is white or yellowish ball micropowder .The action mechanism of nano-zinc oxide in rubber and its effect on the properties of rubber compound were investigated. The results showed that the zinc oxide was used as activator to react with organic accelerators, stearic acid, sulfur ect. on its particle surface during vulcanization; the modulus at 300% and abrasion resistance of vulcanizate increased, and the compression set and compression fatigue temperature rise decreased by using nano-zinc oxide instead of conventional indirect zinc oxide in equal weight; and the desired properties of vulcanizate could be obtained by using nano-zinc oxide in half weight instead of indirect zinc oxide. So using nano ZnO can much save cost in producing the products than using ordinary ZnO.
